THREE YEARS' DETENTION. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] NEW PLYMOUTH. Thursday. In the' Supreme Court, Sydney Wallace Hardie, who was found guilty yesterday of attempted carnal knowledge and other serious charges, was sentenced to reformative detention for a period not exceeding three years.
