As a result of representations made by Tasmanian and "Victorian potato growers the Tariff Board in Melbdurno met to-day to consider the advisability of increasing tho duty on imported potatoes. - The Sydney Morning Herald says tho agents view th'a possible outcome of tho inquiry 'with considerable, perturbation. The proposed increase in duty can only be aimed at 'New Zealand potatoes.
