NOTES BY PICADOR. So far as the light harness sport is concerned, mutters still remain auiet locally and there has been very little of interest on the tracks. Tho pacers Uncle Bert and Doctor Dillon have been.taken to Christchurch to keep their engagements at the New Zealand Metropolitan Trot'ing Club's August meeting, which opens at Addington on Saturday next. The .Asliburton sportsman Mr. H. F. Nicoil has a number of yearlings by his imported sire Wrack. As Wrack was a fine performer in America and took a record of 2m lis. much interest will centre in the doings of his progeny when the time arrives tor tnem to commence racing. That good trotter Judge Hancock is reported to have wintered well, but he is not likely to race again until November. It is anticipated that O'.enelg will make a reappearance at'the New Zealapd Metropolitan Trotting Club's August meeting.
