MYSTERIOUS MURDER.
SCOTLAND YARD'S TASK. SLENDER CLUES TO WORK ON. A. and N.Z. LONDON. July 29. The authorities at Scotland Yard are investigating a murder mystery which requires the skill of a Sherlock Holmes to unravel. Edward Creed, manager of a Bayswater provision shop, was foiiud dead with terrible injuries to his head. The safe in the shop had been rifled, and £SO stolen. The only clues left were one fingerprint. due to the murderer having worn a chamois leather glove with a hole in the tip of one finger, and the second glove which was left alongside the safe.
