OBITUARY.
MRS. CATHERINE PUNCH. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. J RAETIHI, Sunday. The death occurred at Raetihi of Mrs. Catherine Punch, at the age of 84 years. j'Deceased, who came out to New Zealand as a young girl from Scotland, was One of the first Europeans to settle in the district. In those days Raetihi was just a bush clearing. Mrs. Punch was an indefatigable worker in church affairs, and it, was largely due to her efforts that the first Roman Catholic Church was built in Raetihi.
