Greenhiil and Mr. J. K. Hay, of Wellington, and Mr. R. S. Fussell, of Wanganui, are at the Star Hotel. Mr. J. M. Ross, of Palmerston North, Mr. E. J. Stephens, of Wellington, and Mr. W. M. T. Maxwell, of Suva, are at the Royal HoteL Mr. and Mrs. C. Milden Hall, of Hamilton, and Mr. and Mrs. J. Mitchell, and Mr. and Mrs. W. Cleaver, of Honolulu, are at the Royal Hotel. Mr. Donald H. Harrison, Mr. N. Benson and Mr. L. A. Hooke, of Sydney, Mr. E. Osterman, of Palmerston North, and Mr. G. A. Allen, of San Francisco, are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. A. Whitley, head of Sir W. G. Armstrong, Whitworth Company's civil engineering and hvdro-electrical department, arrived by the Aorangi yestarday on a visit to New Zealand. He will inspect the hydro-electric works at Arapuni and the firm's construction works on the East Coast railway. Miss Ellen Melville returned on Saturday from Wellington, where she attended the conference of the New Zealand Political Reform League as the representative of the Grey Lynn branch. Miss Melville also presided at a meeting of the executive of {he New Zealand Libraries' Association, of which she is president. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Burgess, of New Plymouth, returned by the Aorangi yesterday after a tour of the world lasting two years and four months. They proceeded from New Zealand to London, and Mr. Burgess afterwards -visited the East, including India, China, Japan and the Malay States. He returned to England, and with Mrs. Burgess, toured the United Kingdom and Europe. They left for NewPlymouth last evening.
