CAN'T IT BE EATEN?
Always ask yourself,' " Can't it be eaten ?" before throwing out anvfcleftover material. Every bit of uneaten cereal can be used to thicken soups, stews or gravies. Every crumb of stale bread may be made a basis for an attractive meat dish, bread pudding or other dessert. Sour milk be utilised in -making cottage cheese. Sour cream is a good shortening for cakes and cookies, and can be made into salad dressings and gravies for meat.
