POST OFFICE SLOGAN.
ABANDONED BY BRITAIN. "BRITISH GOODS ARE BEST." LONDON, June 30. The British Post Office has decided to embark on a campaign of newspaper and other advertising, and to abandon the slogan "British goods are th® best," which has hitherto been used as a cancelling stamp for letters. This action has been taken in deference to representations from the Rotary International Association which represented that the slogan does not tend to promote friendly relations between Britain and America.
