PASTORAL RESEARCH SCHEME VOLUNTARY. LIQUIDATION. A. and N.Z. MELBOURNE. May 11. A suggestion that £500.000 from the amount available for distribution among tho shareholders should be allocated from tho funds of Bawra for the establishment of a laboratory .for pastoral research and to assist to some extent land settlement was vigorously discussed at the annual' meeting. Those present held an informal meeting subsequently, and it was shown that an overwhelming majority was opposed to the use of the machinery of Bawra for furthering, tho directors' suggestion. At an extaordinary general meeting held subsequently it was decided that the association should be wound-up voluntarily and liqilidators appointed.
