TRIBUTE FROM MINISTER. THE VALUE OF GOOD TEETH. [BY TELEGRAPH.'—OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] CHRISTCHURCB, Tuesday. " The past work of the school dental clinics is of-very superior quality and a credit to the nurses and to the department," 1 said the new Minister'of Health, Hon. J. A. Young, after he had inspected the clinics at the East Christchurch and Beckenham Schools. Mr. YoUng is a dentist by profession and he njade a thorough examination of-the working in r struments. He inspected'several patients. Be had nothing but praise for " the service provided by the clinics. - " It is" splendid work to teach children in their ea.rly years the value of good teeth and the convenience to themselves of clean, healthy mouths,", said the Minister.- "As a result of what they learn the children are. not satisfied to let their tSeth go after tljey teave school, but" they place themselves under the care of experienced dentists. The instruction must ultimately prove of great value to the State in. that are an important i factor in the health; of the individual and I in the creating of power to resist disease."
