That tho good work accomplished by the Plunket,Society is being increasingly recognised -may. be gathered from tho response- to' an appeal recently issued by the Mayor of; Dunedin on.behalf! of the local branch of the society. This week the handsome sum. of £2OOO was received by,,the treasurer. The donors were Mrs. and j Miss Massey, in* memory of the late • Mr. Horatio ,A/ Massey,. of Invercargill.. , ' •
