CHARGE OF MURDER.
TRAGEDY AT MELBOURNE. MAN SENT FOR TRIAL. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed 11.55 p.m.)' MELBOURNE, Jan. 8. At the' inquest regarding the death of Mrs. Ray Currell, a man Earned Henry Tacke was committed for trial on a charge of murder. A cablegram published on December 17 stated that Mrs. Currell, who was living with her husband at St. Kilda, was shot dead by a man who called at her home at night. It was stated that the man engaged deceased in conversation at the door. A quarrel followed, and the man fired six shots from a revolver, four of which took effect. He then decamped. It was stated that two shots were. fired at deceased's husband, but that both missed.
