EX-KAISER ON RELIGION
"THE NEED FOR RESEARCH."
VIEWS REGARDING THE BIBLE.
A. and N.Z
BERLIN, Jan. 7.
<■' Away with Judaism and Jehovah, says the ex-Kaiser in a newspaper article in which he supports the Germanic movement in opposition to both Judaism and Christianity. He adds: "The Church must abandon old beliefs and make use of research.
" Martin Luther was wrong when he used the word 'Lord' instead of adhering to 'Jehovah,' " the writer says. He emphasised that Christ did not use the word " Jehovah," but " God ' or ' Father, which ho declares " is good enough for me." Christianity sprang from Zoroaster, whose monotheistic doctrines influenced Isaiah.
The ex-Kaiser urges that the Bible should begin with the New Testament, the second half consisting of a selection of the Psalms, the Proverbs and the Prophecies. The remainder should not be included in German Protestant form.
