LONDON BUTTER MARKET. LAST WEEK'S IMPROVEMENT. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Dec. 31. The butter market is quiet after an active trade early in the week. New Zealand, choicest salted, is quoted at from 172s to 1745; unsalted, 1765. Australian, salted, 164s to 1665; unsalted, 168s to 170s. Danish, 178s. Cheeso is dull. New Zealand, 97s to 98s. Australian, 92s to 945. The previous week's report stated: — The butter market is very quiet. New Zealand, choicest salted, is quoted at 164s to 1665; exceptionally choice, 168s; unsalted, 166s to 1725. Australian, salted, 156s to 160s; unsalted, 158s to 1625. Danish, 172s to 1745. The cheese market is dull. New Zealand is quoted at 100s to 102s.
