IMPERIAL PREFERENCE
CLAIM OF THE DOMINIONS. GOVERNMENT URGED TO ACT. A. and N.Z. LONDON, Jan. 1. The Daily Mail says that everyone will be sorry to hear that there, is a feeling of soreness in Dominion quarters at the delay of the British Government in carrying' out the recommendations of the Imperial Economic Committee. The paper expresses a hope that the Government will immediately carry out the plans, and thus make a practical return for the preference that most of the Dominions grant to British produce.
