FOOD FOR BRITAIN.
MEAT, BUTTER AND RABBITS. IMPORTS FROM NEW ZEALAND. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. E. 5 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 2. The London and Central markets report, that imported supplies of meat, poultry, butter, eggs and rabbits, excluding produce from Ireland, formed 80 per cent, of the total quantity marketed in 19Z5. New Zealand and Australia contributed 86,000 tons, or 13J per cent, of the .total. The largest contributor was Argentina with 46 percent. Australia and New Zealand lead in the mutton and lamb section, sending 86,000 tons.
