ACpIDENTS INEAR TAURANGA. ONE COLLIDES- WITH A CAR. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] TATJRANGA, Saturday. Two accidents occurred to motor cyclists on Thursday evening on roads in the vicinity of Tauranga., A motor cycle ridden by a young man named George West collided -with a car driven by a Maori on the Tauranga-Katikati Road, about two and a-half miles from town., with the result that Mr. West was taken to the hospital suffering from concussion, various abrasions and a lacerated knee. The cycle was damaged and the radiator of the car punctured. The other accident happened on tho Tanranga-Te Pulse Road to a man named Walter Mitchell. One of the tyres of his cycle blew out and the machine came to grief. Mr. Mitchell's left leg was fractured below the knee. ' COLLISION IN WELLINGTON. MAN RECEIVES BROKEN LEG. [bt telegraph.—press association.] WELLINGTON, Sunday. A motor-cycle, driven by Mr. Donald Bell, with his wife and son in a side-car,' was struck by a motor-cat last evening.
