KNOCKED DOWN BY MOTOR.
BOY'S REMARKABLE ESCAPE. [BT TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WATTTI, Saturday. A boy of 14, son of Mr. H. McCall, a Wailii Plains farmer, had a miraculous escape from death on the Waihi Beach Road yesterday evening. He alighted on the wrong side from a car when opposite his home and a car from behind knocked him down and passed over him. He sustained a gash on the head and braise.3 cm ths body. The sufferer was admitted to the Waihi District Hospital and to-day his condition was reported to be not serious.
