'AUCKLAND CLUB'S MEETING CONCLUDING DAY'S SPORT. Tho Auckland Trotting Club's Summer Mooting was concluded at Alexandra Park on Thursday. Tho weather waa favourable and thero waa again a good attendance. The totalisator handled £50,452, making a giond total of £202,111 10a, compared with £210,569 Inst year, a decrcaso of £8477 10a for the meeting. Tho various events wero all well contefted and Inn President's Handicap, the leading event, .was won narrowly by the Waikatoowned hoise, Oakhampton, after a very fine ryce. Thero was a very hostile demonstration against Silk Thread after that horse had won tho New Year Handicap.
