In a cricket match played to-day, the Hamilton junior representatives were defeated by a senior team by , three runs on the first innings. The seniors made 94 (Beechey 20, Hunwick 25. Everest 19). Heyworth took five wickets for 32 runs. The juniors made 9.1 (Wilson 11, Griffiths 12, Hey worth 10, W. Griffiths 20). Beechey took two wickots for 4 runs and Hunwick six for 35.
