LABOUR IN AMERICA. RUSSIAN WAYS NOT APPROVED. Router. NEW YORK. Oct. 7. Mr. William Green presided at the convention of the American Federation of Labour, which opened to-day at Atlantic City. Mr. Arthur Puree!!. MP. for Forest of Dean, who represented the British Trades Union Congress, expressed a hope that American Labour would establish fraternal relations with Russia. In reply, Mr. Green, whose declaration was received with great applause, said American Labour would never affiliate with Russian Labour. The latter stood for the " philosophy of overthrowing the Government."
