The commission appointed to inquire into the accident to tho WclhngtonNapier express at Opapa recently will open its sittings in Wellington to morrow. The Court will comprise Messrs. W. (1. Iliddell, S.M., chairman, .lames Marchbanks, engineer to the Wellington Harbour Hoard, and W. I). Hunt, manager of the Wellington branch of Messrs. Wright, Stcjjhenson and Co. The Railway Depart men J vili be represented by Messrs. M. Myers. K.C., and \l. Denuehv, solicitor for the department. The engine driver of the wrecked train has not recovered sufficiently to be able to attend, and it is probable that tomorrow's proceedings will be confined to the taking of expert evidence from the officers of the department.
