RUSSIAN WHEAT.
PEASANTS WILL NOT SELL. EXPORTATIONS HELD UP. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 9.5 p.m.) LONDON. Oct. 6 The Soviet Government has cancelled its charters for a number of wheat si earners owing to its inability to get the wheat to the Black Sea ports in consequence of the refusal oi' the peasants to sell. This may cause a hardening in prices for Australian and other cargoes, but probably not to a great extent as traders know there is plenty of wheat in Russia, which will be marketed sooner or later.
