Henderson, at half-past- two yesterday j afternoon. It is stated that the Mount I Eden Fire Brigade did not receive a call ' until a quarter of an hocr after the ooti break, owing to the family being absent I from the house at the time. The fire had a strong hold when the brigade arrived. The house was badly damaged, but two rooms were partially saved.
