WORK ON THE FARM.
Sir., —Mr > Poynton, S.M., seams tc> be I somawhat taken aback at the idea of a j man wording 16 hours a day. But that is what la cow-cockie has to go through, day iu jfnrH day out, month in and month out, and virne, of them do more than that, J, kncny two young fellows who are baching aiAd milking 70 cows, doing from 16 | to 20f hours work a day, and sometimes j only on two meals a day. What does j Mr,, Poynton think of that? Perhaps if j sc/me of the city folk really knew the j Qow-cockies' hours they would have a j •little more sympathy for them. Only A Cookie.
