NEW CONTROL MOVEMENT. OVERLOOKED FORMALITIES. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Wednesday. A hitch has occurred in connection with the formation of a new acclimatisation society for the South Auckland district. Following the decision of former members of the Auckland Society to organise the new society in the Waiknto, members were enrolled and an application was sent to the Minister for Internal Affairs for a charter. The Minister found that a number of formalities had not been complied with, including the giving of 14 days' notice to the Auckland Society of intention to secede and form the new society. The* Minister has ennmeruted the law's requirements, and until these formalities have been complied with and the Auckland Society's objections have been heard, the charter cannot bo granted.
