TWO ACCIDENT CASES.

SEVERE HEAD INJURIES. STRUCK BY TRAMWAY POLE. A tramway accident occurred early last evening near Victoria Park. Leslie Pretoria Knock, aged 25 years, of 5, Deadwood Terrace, I'onsonby, employed by the Kauri Timber Company, was returning from work, and attempted to board a tramcar. He struck his head on one of the poles in the centre of the road and sustained severe head injuries. Ho was admitted to the Auckland Hospital, and at a late hour his condition was reported to be satisfactory. A boy. Henry Brose, aged seven years, while riding on the back of a lorrv yesterday afternoon, slipped and fell, the wheel passing over his leg. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital where an operation was performed. His condition late las', evening was reported to be as good as could be expected.
