PRESENTATION.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] HAMILTON. Tuesday; A presentation to Mr, J. C. Quinlan, of Hamilton, recently proiroted to the position of postmaster at Otorohanga, was made .by the staff of the Hamilton post office. The chief postmaster, Mr. R. H. Boyd, referred to the service of Mr. Quinlan in the Hamilton office and expressed regret at his departure. Mr. D. C. P. Hamilton, of the telegraph staff, and Mr. A. E. Fredric, of the clerical branch, also referred to Mr. Quinlan's ability. Mr. Quinlan was presented with a travelling bag. A welcome was extended to Mr. T. M. Crawford, who succeeds Mr. Quinlan as assistant supervisor of the clerical bianch.
