MRS. A. CRAIGk The death occurred on/Saturday late residence. Station Terrace, Remuera,". of Mrs. Alexandrir.a Craig, aged 68 '■ years. Mrs. Craig was the widow of the late Mr. Andrew Craig, formerly of tha ~ Post and Telegraph Department; Shei ." arrived in Auckland with her 'sirents, Mr.'..', and Mrs. McMillan, from Novai the ship Ellen Lewis. Her parents were." among the pioneers of the settlement of, Waipu. After her marriage Mrs. Craig ' resided for some time at Waipu and then at Mat-aura. finally coining to Auckland to ~ live in 1912. Mrs.-Craig is survived by , the following children Messrs.; John ' w McGregor, Devonport; Angus, Hamilton;. Andrew, ChristchurchJames, Te Euiti; ' Alexander and William, Auckland; Mrs, ; P. 0. Spry, Wellington; Mrs." K. A. McDonald, Gordon; and Misses Annie and C. M. Craig, Auckland.
MR. F. G. ARDERX. The death occurred on Saturday at big late residence, Kingsland, of Mr. F. G. Ardern, J.P. Deceased was amative of New Zealand and spent his early years at Gisborne and at the Thames. On the. opening of the Hauraki Plains he was one of the'first to take up a farm there, He remained on the plains until recently when, being stricken with illness, he sold his property and came to reside in.Auck* land. Deceased, who was aii .enthusiastic bowler, was a member of the Kooky Nook Club. The funeral will take place at Waij kumete this afternoon. " V
MRS. BLANCHE WILD. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN ' CORRESPONDENT. j[ 7 TE AROHA, Saturday. The death occurred at Herriesville, To * Aroha, on Friday, of Mrs. Blanche Wild, ~ aged 09, and wife of Mr. F. A. Wild, For many years constable in charge of the Te \roha district. The late Mrs. Wild was • among the earliest settlers in Waikato, l; having arrived in Hamilton with her v parents with one of the first Waiktito _regiments. With her husband, who survives her, she took up her residence at To Aroha m 1869. She leave:'; a large family.
