CHRIST'S COLLEGE REUNION
GATHERING OF OLD BOYS. A reunion dinner held by the Auckland branch of the Christ's College Old Boys' Association in the Grand Hotel on Saturday evening was attended by about 30 members, Mr. W. Pavitt presiding. Reference to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the school, which is to take place in Christchurch on December 18, was made by the chairman in proposing the toast of the school. Mr. Donald Dodson, a member of the Board of Governors of the college, remarked on the great interest taken by old boys in the welfare of the school. He said, that a hearty welcome would be extended to old boys from abroad who would be visiting Christchurch for the anniversary, gathering. An extensive programme has been compiled for the -celebration. The members of the Old Boys' Association have the privilege of electing six fellows of the college, and of this number two fellows retire every three years. Messrs. T. F. Gibson and G. T. Weston will retire by rotation at the end of next month, and elsewhere in this issuo nominations are invited to fill these vacancies on the Board of Governors.
