RETURN JOURNEY FLOWN. 1000 MILES IN 14! HOURS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, May 30. Mr. Alan Cobham, the well-known air pilot. Hew in a tiny "moth" aeroplane from Croydon to Zurich and back, a distance of 1000 miles, in 14£ hours. The same journey by boat and train takes two days. The cost of tho flight, apart from wear and tear, was £4 12s.
