ACCOUNTANCY PAPERS. ORIGINAL RESEARCH WORK, [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION. ] WELLINGTON. Saturday. Tho University Senato to-day went into committeo to hear a statement by the vice-chancellor regarding the November accountancy examinations and as to tho controversy which has been referred to in the newspaper correspondence as to the papers set for tho examinations. On returning the Senate agreed to a resolution endorsing the action of the vice-chancellor, and certain correspondence was referred to the committees of the Senate. Mr. Bakewell moved that, in the interests of the teaching of Dominion history, the Government be asked to make somo special arrangements by means of which State documents and public records generally may be rendered readily available for original research work. The motion was adopted.
