THIEF WITH WORKSHOP.
A CHRISTCHURCH YOUTH. BORSTAL TREATMENT ORDERED. [BY telegraph.— association.] CHRISTCHURCH. Friday. A youth, Thomas Glover, aged 18, pleaded guilty to-day to the theft of bicycles, lamp.-,, pomps, carpenters' fools and antique fittings, valued at £109 2s 6d. lie was convicted and ordered to bo detained at tho Borstal Institute for a period not exceeding two years. Glover, a week ago, was placed on probation for tho theft of a bicycle. The police stated that ho had a hut on Cashmere Hills where he dismantled machines.
