REBUILDING FUND. CHILDREN FOREGO PRIZES. I [BY TELEGRAPH. — OWN CORRESPONDENT.] I HAMILTON. Friday. I A successful bazaar and sale of work I was held 'in the Pukuhia School this afternoon and evening, with a view to raising funds to rebuild tho district hall, which was totally destroyed by fire recently. A special effort has been made to collect sufficient money to let the rebuilding be commenced at an early date, I and with the same cud in view the school I children agreed to accept certificates of j merit in lieu of prizes, devoting the cost of the usual prizes toward the fund, The various stalls and sideshows, j which were artistically decorated by the school pupils, were well patronised. During the evening the certificates of merit were presented.
