AIR-GUN ACCIDENT.

BOY SHOT IN FACE.

INJURY TO AN EYE.

A 10-year-old boy, Jack Stevenson, residing in First Avenue, Stanley Point, received injuries to his right eye, yesterday, through being struck by a pellet fired from an air gun. The boy and some other children were playing with tho gun when it was accidentally discharged. The pellet lodged between the eye and tho cheek bone, but it is not considered that the boy's sight, will be affected. After being attended by Dr. Bennett, of Birkenhead, he was admitted to the Auckland Hospital.
