The authorties at Australia Houbo have been advised that Paymaster-Lieutenant-Commander Davies, while en route to Australia by the Diogenes, after several years of service in the Australian Naval Office in London, was lost overboard on tne day before the vessel's arrival at Teueriffe. A search for tho missing man failed.
