PASSENGER SHIPS TO INSTAL.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 8.35 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 16. Largely as the outcome of the Trevessa disaster a special lifeboat wireless plant has been perfected. A certain number of the lifeboats of every passenger ship are required to be so equipped after July. The apparatus includes a petrol engine contained iu a box.
A special feature is a direction indicator with a range of 100 miles.
