SUCCESS OF THE TRIALS.

The Aorangi's arrival in Australia would mark the jubilee of the company. The Union Steam Ship Company was in competition in Australia and Canada with Governments who admitted th'at their ships did not pay and admitted they taxed the public in order to compensate for their losses.

"We find the only way to compete is lo give the best service," ho said.

Other speakers declared that the Aorangi was far ahead of other ships in the Australian trade for steadiness.
