WEDNESDAY COMPETITIONS. NOMADS V. TRAMWAYS. A match, played under the auspices of the Wednesday Cricket Association, at V lctoria Park yesterday, resulted as follows:— Tramways v. Nomads. —Nomads declared at 201 for seven wickots (Miller 69. i'ates G9). Bowling: Laraen took four wickets, Shanaglian two. and Razzl® one. Tramways scored 132 for seven wickets (Robinson 28, Carr 28 not out, Brazendale 24, Shanaglian 16. Sutcliffo 14). _ Bowling: Kaspar took five wickets. Bicknell one, and Cattejall ono. The game resulted ill a draw. SECONDARY SCHOOLS. CHRIST'S COLLEGE DEFEATED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURC iI. Wednesday. The Otago Boys' High School beat Christ's College at cricket for the trst time in ten years to-day by 70 runs. In their second innings Otago High School made (Allan 108, Rodger 62. W. Young 31). Riley took three wickets for 38 runs. Cottrell three for 32 and Elliott three for 22. Requiring 217 runs to win Christ s College in their second innings were all out for 146 (Hamilton 29, Dunster 77). Leader took two wickets for 43 runs, A. Young two for 34 and Cherry two for 37.
