MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.
The Hon. J. G. Coates, Minister for Public Works end Railways, will leave Wellington to-day by tho New Plymouth express, and proceed in tho evening to Whangamomona. On Friday he will traverse tho railway route to Ohura, arriving at Te Kuiti in the evening. On Saturday the Minister will proceed to Waihi, where he will perform tho ceremony of turning on the electric light for the borough. On Monday ho will open a post office at Pokeno, and will proceed to New Plymouth by road, via the Waikino Valley. He expects to return to Wellington about December 24. Tho Hon. C. J. Parr, Minister for Education and Justice, visited Otahuhu and Kowhai schools yesterday, and in the evening presented the prizes to pupils of the Auckland and Epsom Girls' Grammar Schools. This afternoon Mr. Parr opens the new playground at tho Grafton school and in the evening presents the prizes tothe boys of. tho Auckland Grammar School. The Minister expects to leave for Wellington to-morrow, but returns fo Auckland to spend the Christmas holidays.
