CRIME AGAINST DAUGHTER.
JULIAN FOUND GUILTY.
FOUR CHARGES DROPPED.

A verdict of guilty on tho first two counts of six on which he was indicted was returned by the jury against Samuel Percy Julian, of Tikorangi, in the Supreme Court at Now Plymouth to-day, tho verdict being with respect to the charges of incest with his eldest daughter.
Owing to tho refusal of three other daughters to give evidenco against their father on the other four counts, the Crown Prosecutor said the Crown would not ask for a decision on these charges, and tho jury, at the request of Mr. Justice Mac. Gregor, heforo whom the trial was conducted, returned a formal verdict of not guilty with respect to them. Julian was remanded for .sentence.
