PROPERTY SALES.

A number of properties were sold by auction yesterday. A property of 66 acres at Woodhill was sold at £40 10s an aero by the Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. Ltd. A house and threo acres oi land in Great South Road. Papakura, brought, a bid of £ 1300. but was not sold. Offers for a dwelling in East Street. Psjakura, failed to reach tho owner's expectations. Mr. '].'. Mandeno Jackson sold for £910 a residence of 6 rooms at 18. Eden Street. Newmarket. No Kales were niado of properties in tho Glenmore Estate. Pnpatoetoe. Two properties offered by. Messrs. Samuel Vail.o and Sons, Ltd., ono in Onslow Road and tho other, a farm of 100 acres of unimproved land in tho Wnitara parish, were bouirht in bv the mortgagees. No salsa resulted in the Onepu Estate at Arkle'a Bay and the remaining properties offered were also passed ;.;. Of six farm properties offered by Mr C F. Bennett, all were bought in bv tb ■•■■<■■>- gagees. A prnpertv of 473 acres in the parish of Tauhoa, offered by Messrs. Alfred Buckland and Rons, was not sold. Messrs. William A. Home. Ltd., acting under instruction? from the mortgagee, sold for £150 a property having frontages to the Maramarua and Whanjrama»""o ■' Messrs. Richard Arthur, Ltd.. under instructions from the registrar of the Supremo Court, obtained £'290 for a section of less thctr an acre in tho Otahuhu Survey District, being part of a block of land called " Fairburn's Old Land Claim."
