YOUNG MAN'S DEATH.
COLLAPSE IN STREET. EVIDENCE OF ILL-HEALTH. The circumstances surrounding the death of Mr. Robert Gordon Young, who was admitted to tho Auckland Hospital on December 5 and who died last Wednesday evening, formed the subject of an inquest held before Mx. W. R. McKean, S.M., yesterday.
Ernest Chadwicl: stated ther. he found deceased lying on the footpath in _ Clonbern Road, Remuera, on the evening of December 5. He was unconscious, and witness summoned a doctor and communicated with the police. Henrietta Cooper, of 53, Clonbern Road, stated that deceased wis her nephew, and resided'with her. He had recently been working overtime, and witness cautioned him against jeopardising his health. He was a clerk by occupation, and witness thought that ho was feeling the strain of over-work. A young woman stated that sho was acquainted with deceased, and saw him leave Newmarket, for home about 9.40 p.m. on December 5. On tho previous day he had told witness that ho suffered from pains in the head. Dr. YV. Gilmour stated that a. postmortem examination had disclosed that death was due to cerebral haemorrhage secondary to congenital cystic d.'seasc of the kidneys. Tho coroner returned a verdir-Si in accordance with the medical evidence.
