CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER
FIGHT ON COUNTRY ROAD. ACCUSED REMANDED ON BAIL. [by telegraph.—rriEss association.] GORE. Thursday. An adjourned inquest on the body of Donald Cameron, who died after a fracas on the road near Gore on December 1, was held to-day. Lengthy evidence was given. On the advice of his solicitor John Junor, who was engaged in a f'ght with Cameron imemdiately prior to the latter's death, made no further statement regarding the occurrence. The medical evidence was that Cameron died as the result of hemorrhage of the brain, and a verdict was returned accordingly, with an addition that (lie injuries were received while deceased was fighting with John Junor. Junor then appeared before a local Justice on a charge of manslaughter, and was remanded on bail'till Tuesday.
