MANCERE RECREATION GROUND.
Sir, —For the benefit of your corns- . pondent, "Quo Jure," I wish to state that the trustees of the S.W. House Recreation Park have the legal right to make a charge for rent from the tennis club, or any other club connected with the grounds. The notice to the tennis club ' asking for £5 was decided upon at. a meeting, when four of the five trustees were present, and, so far, no objection has been made by the tennis " club. Naturally any money collected by the, trustees must be spent on the maintenance and improvement of the grounds, and the trustees will endeavour to "encourage," not "discourage," all sports played on the grounds. Ernbst J. Khmht; hon. sec, November 6, 1924. Trustees, S.W. House Recreation Park.
