CANADA BEATS CUBA. MEETS JAPAN NEXT ROUND. A. and N.Z. OTTAWA, July 27. The Canadian Davis Cup team qualified to meet Japan in the next round of the American zone by the win of Crocker over the Cuban champion, Paris, 6—3, 7 —5, 6-r-3. Banet (Cuba) defeated Wright (Canada), 4—6, 6—4, 6—o, 3-6, 6-4.
