TRAMWAY EXTENSIONS.
ORDER OP WORK DECIDED.
MOUNT EDEN LINES FIRST.
The order in which the various tramwav extensions recently authorised by the City Council are to be carried out was determined by the council last evening.
The matter came up in the form of -a report from the Committee of the Whole Council, in which it was recommended that the Mount Eden and Dominion Road extensions, concurrently, take precedence, that Point Chevalier be placed second, and that the Remuera extension follow on completion of the Point Chevalier route. . This was adopted.
