NO SETTLEMENT REACHED. A. and N.Z. MELBOURNE, May 7. The Tramways Board after a long discussion with the Trades Hall Disputes Committee and representatives of the men, refused to reinstate the gripman involved, and the strike remains unsettled. The board's attitude is that work must bo resumed . before anything further is done in the matter..
