COOLIES ON STRIKE.
TROUBLE AT RANGOON.
HIGH WAGES WANTED.

Work at the docks at Rangoon is practically at a standstill owing to a strike of stevedores' coolies, who are demanding increased pay. The stevedores agreed to give an increase but, owing to their existing contracts, asked for a postponement for two months. This the coolies rejected.
