FLEET AT AUCKLAND.
ARRIVAL ON MAY 10.
There has -not been any alteration in the date on which the Special Service Squadron will arrive at Anckland. As originally announced the fleet will arrive here on May 10.
A resolution expressing the willingness of the council of the Auckland ' Sailors' Home to co-operate with other organisations in welcoming the officers and men of the Imperial service squadron was passed by the council on Wednesday evening. It was also resolve to ask the local board of management of the British and Foreign Sailors' Society to keep the Sailors' Mission Hall open all day during the visit of the squadron. This can not be done at present, as the officer in charge of the hall. Captain W. Bazeley, has to attend to many other duties.
